Grantham is a thriving market town, with indoor shopping precincts, cattle and market stalls. Birthplace of Lady Margaret Thatcher, 13 October 1925 who was Britain's first lady prime Minister and longest serving prime minister.

Enjoy breathtaking views of countryside from Belvoir castle built by William the conqueror in 11th century and still home to duke and Duchess of Rutland.
There are a variety of public houses and inns offering good beer and traditional homemade food. In the evenings there are many local bands performing in the pubs to entertain you. The Angel and Royal is one of Britain's oldest Inns, seven kings of England have stayed there since 1200. You could go for a meal in its award winning restaurant or go for a relaxing drink in the bar where there are cosy open fires in the winter months.
